*GUNS the ENGINE*
Yo Lissen up,
"Our strength grows out of our weakness. Not until we are pricked and stung and sorely shot at, awakens the indignation which arms itself with secret forces. A great man is always willing to be little. Whilst he sits on the cushion of advantages, he goes to sleep. When he is pushed, tormented, defeated, he has a chance to learn something; he has been put on his wits, on his manhood; he has gained facts; learns his ignorance; is cured of the insanity of conceit; has got moderation and real skill. The wise man always throws himself on the side of his assailants. It is more his interest than it is theirs to find his weak point. The wound cicatrizes and falls off from him like a dead skin and when they would triumph, lo! he has passed on invulnerable. Blame is safer than praise. I hate to be defended in a newspaper. As long as all that is said is said against me, I feel a certain assurance of success. But as soon as honied words of praise are spoken for me I feel as one that lies unprotected before his enemies. In general, every evil to which we do not succumb is a benefactor. As the Sandwich Islander believes that the strength and valor of the enemy he kills passes into himself, so we gain the strength of the temptation we resist." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
There's three types of people in each war, the adrenaline junkies who go out there to fight because they believe its like a real-life video game, then the Ivy leagues in the govt with their thick binders which they believe has all the answers, then the simpletons who dont have a say, they sit and observe. The remark portion had words like "cooly controlled", "even-kneeled", "emotionally disengaged", "fearless".

I laughed, hard. If my temperament makes some people uncmfortable, I know a few others it has inspired an abiding confidence and trust. And if I dont show fear, it's probably because I fear too much. Somewhere in there is the physicists' law of conservetion meshed with the economists' law of diminishing returns. Bank the emotions, they burn too hotly. Trust too, it can be broken ... countless number of men betray humanity everyday. There will come a time when you'll almost die, but there and then you will learn what it is to live.
Friday was good too. I got two phone calls. One from E.M., for a job two hours away and the other from D.I. to continue my work on the optical transmitter board from the summer. The devil you know's better than the angel you dont know. I went with the latter. So its back to The Woodlands , pine trees, fresh air, rich women, ultra-smart colleagues.
Nigeria's about gone to hell in a handbasket.
RIX is slow. No ISE/Sysnopsys TCAD on Emule, or anywhere else for that matter.
